Typhoon joined the Tornado Marine Fleet in 2005 and has quickly established her place as one of the best boats to be on in the Northern Red Sea. Sweeping curves and a generous 33m length, Typhoon makes fast work of the journeys between the wrecks and reefs of the region. The sister to Whirlwind, she shares many of the same design attributes and has the same feeling of opulence.

Typhoon’s 10 twin cabins are on two levels and each cabin has air con and safe. The en-suite bathrooms make clever use of space yet have separate shower areas. Circular dining tables help create a continental cafe ambience. With an attractive spiral staircase leading up, the saloon and bar area are situated on the bridge deck. The large plasma screen in the saloon is ideal for briefings and checking out the photographic efforts for the day. The dive deck is well spaced and Typhoon makes diving easy with a large back platform and 2 zodiacs. Typhoon is fully enabled for rebreather diving.

Typhoon sails regularly on the Wrecks and Reefs itinerary. Reaching further than possible from shore, this route sees the best of the region. Interesting historical 19th and 20th C wrecks are fodder for the Get Wrecked itinerary and the Brothers Wreck special is for the more experienced diver with an eye on the distant horizon. Typhoon has clearly is laid out thoughtfully and designed to meet every diver’s needs. Jump into the jacuzzi at sunset and enjoy sailing in absolute comfort.
